Collegium unveiled for the first time its development plans with the community that welcomes it and will make it its own: Arévalo, Spain.

Located in the church of San Martín, the museum presented architectural renders and a timeline showing ten years of planning since the project was conceived in 2010. The show was opened until mid-October 2020. In full compliance with COVID guidelines, it attracted near 6000 visitors from the city of 8000 neighbors.

Collegium will be a center for education, research, and experimentation of contemporary art. Its nucleus of operations is located in the city of Arévalo, in Castilla y León. It will become a cultural production space for artists and artisans, with a center specialized in the conservation and archival of contemporary art.

The Collegium model is committed to inclusion, dialogue, and community participation. Only together, the people of Arévalo and the region, the City Council of Arévalo, the Junta de Castilla y León and the Fundación Lumbreras – Adrastus Collection can achieve this.
